French toast (Classic)

 


This french toast includes 2 sandwiches cut in 8 pieces. I dipped them into a mixture of 1 egg and 20ml milk plus cinamon powder and fried them on a pan with hot butter.

Some tips to take away are: 
  1. - burnt black is usually forbidden in cooking, but you can allow some to show up on this toast, because a slightly burnt bread is more crunchy and therefore tastes better;
  2. - do not add too much milk because egg white is also liquid and you may end up having too much liquid if you don't count egg white;
  3. - strawberry does not taste very cool with french toast, but it does bring a nice color for decoration;
  4. - i didnt try maple syrup, but honey is indeed a must-have for this dish;
  5. - a dark-colored theme shall be better at doing the highlight job for this dish.
